Reggie Cariaso leads RCBC relief drive for GenSan quake victims

Rizal Commercial Banking Corp. (RCBC) president and CEO Reggie Cariaso personally joined relief efforts in General Santos City, helping distribute food, rice and water to families affected by the recent earthquake.

Cariaso visited Barangay Tinagacan as RCBC and the AY Foundation delivered 350 food packs, 350 sacks containing five kilograms of rice each, and 350 five-gallon containers of water to affected residents.

General Santos City Mayor Lorelie Geronimo Pacquiao welcomed the assistance and thanked the RCBC chief for personally traveling to the community.

“Taos-puso po akong nagpapasalamat kay RCBC President at CEO Reginaldo “Reggie” Cariaso sa kanyang personal na pagpunta sa Barangay Tinagacan,” Pacquiao said in a social media post.

The mayor said the assistance provided much-needed support as residents continued to recover from the disaster.

“Ang inyong kabutihan at malasakit ay malaking inspirasyon at napakalaking tulong sa patuloy nating pagbangon. Maraming salamat po sa RCBC at sa lahat ng nakiisa sa misyong ito. Sama-sama tayong babangon at magpapatuloy para sa bawat Heneral,” Pacquiao said.

General Santos City was among the areas affected by the magnitude 7.8 earthquake that struck Mindanao on June 8, leaving communities dealing with the aftermath and recovery.
