There’s little time to celebrate for Alex Eala and the Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) is already cheering her on for what’s next.
After making history as the first Filipino to win a WTA Tour singles title, the 21-year-old received a public sendoff from BPI as she prepares for the Canadian Open.
“On to the NEXT. A celebration of your victory as the first Filipino to win a WTA Singles Title,” BPI wrote in a Facebook post. “NEXT by BPI Preferred cheers on Alex Eala as she takes on the Canadian Open next.”
The bank also paid tribute to the determination that has powered Eala’s rise through the professional ranks.
“Your grit, discipline, and determination continue to inspire Filipinos to dream bigger, aim higher, and keep reaching for their milestones,” it added.
