It was a mini RCBC reunion as some of the bank’s biggest names came together to celebrate retired Human Resources Group head Rowena Subido’s 60th birthday.
RCBC chairperson Helen Yuchengco Dee, president Reggie Cariaso and former president Eugene Acevedo joined Subido for the birthday dinner.
“A Heartfelt Thank you!” Subido wrote in a social media post following the celebration.
The gathering came shortly after Subido retired as RCBC first senior vice president and Human Resources Group head on Sept. 15, capping more than 15 years with the Yuchengco-led bank. She will remain with RCBC as a senior HR consultant.
“September 15 also marked my last working day as RCBC’s HR Group Head and will transition to be a senior HR consultant of the bank. It has been a privilege to be part of this organization and to work alongside such dedicated, talented and supportive colleagues,” Subido said.
“I will forever be grateful to the bank for the opportunities, trust, guidance and support I have received over the years. The experiences and relationships i have gained will remain an important part of my life, and i will always look back on my time here with immense pride and appreciation,” she added.
Subido also thanked Dee for her leadership, wisdom and guidance, as well as the four RCBC presidents she had the opportunity to serve and work closely with during her tenure.
Before joining RCBC, Subido worked at Citi, where she served as senior vice president for the country human resources group beginning in 2004.
