Rizal Commercial Banking Corporation (RCBC) secured its fourth consecutive title as the Philippines’ Best Bank for Digital Solutions in 2023, according to Asiamoney, reaffirming its role as a pioneering force in the country’s digital banking landscape.
RCBC’s Innovations with Empathy initiative, featuring a range of digital solutions that drive extensive digital transformation and foster financial inclusion, earned the bank this prestigious recognition.
Asiamoney praised RCBC for not only developing sustainable and inclusive digital finance solutions but also collaborating with the government to expand digital access, catalyze digital payment transformations, bring financial services to underserved communities, and promote innovation.
RCBC’s success stems in part from the launch of RCBC MoneyBela Barangayan Banking, the Philippines’ first phygital (physical-digital) blended banking service, and innovations like ATMGo, the country’s first grassroots-based, bank-agnostic, and last-mile automated teller machine.
RCBC President and CEO Eugene Acevedo expressed delight in receiving this award and reiterated the bank’s commitment to leveraging data science and artificial intelligence to positively impact customers’ lives.
