Philippine National Bank (PNB) has partnered with Top Line Group of Companies to set up and manage a retirement fund for the company’s employees, expanding the Lucio Tan-led lender’s institutional trust business.
PNB’s Trust Banking Group will administer the fund and oversee its investments to support the long-term retirement needs of Top Line employees, while the bank’s Commercial Banking Group will handle the client relationship.
“Our goal is to help organizations build sustainable retirement programs grounded in sound governance and prudent fund management,” PNB chief trust officer and Trust Banking Group head Jiah Santos said.
The arrangement combines PNB’s trust and investment management services with its commercial banking operations.
“By working together across our business groups, we are able to provide clients with an end-to-end solution that aligns with their objectives,” PNB Corporate Banking Group head Allan Ang said.
Top Line Group is engaged in fuel trading, logistics and retail operations in the Philippines. It serves industrial and consumer markets through its depot facilities, distribution network and Light Fuels retail brand.
Top Line CEO Eugene Erik Lapasaran Lim said the retirement program was part of the group’s efforts to strengthen long-term financial support for its employees.
“Our employees are central to our growth, and this retirement program is a meaningful step toward securing their long-term financial well-being,” Lim said.
