Manulife has partnered with Haribon Foundation and the Forests for Life Movement to sponsor an “Adop-a-Forest” program.
Through the initiative, the insurer plans to plant 15,000 seedlings of native trees, covering an area of about 12 hectares.
The program is expected to improve soil nutrients, offer habitat and sustenance to wildlife, and preserve forests in Haribon’s conservation sites in Laguna, Quezon, and Rizal provinces.
