Mr. Funa intends to focusmore on the local insurance industry.
Insurance Commissioner (IC) Dennis B. Funa has officially left his post as chairman of the Asian Reinsurance Corp. effective 31 August 2022. He left the rest of his term until 2023, and shall bereplaced by Golameza Soleymani of the Central Insurance of Iran. Mr. Funa cited his desire to focus on the local insurance industry following Asian Re’s consistent performance through the years.
The Ms. Funa was designated twice as Asian Re chairman for two-year terms.
