Citi Philippines renews focus on client services and economic growth

Citi Philippines has reiterated its dedication to improving client services and contributing to the country’s economic growth.

Having raised over $10 billion through corporate and sovereign bond issuances since 2020, Citi Philippines, which has been operating in the country for over 120 years, emphasizes its commitment to delivering excellent client service and offering responsible financial services.

The bank was recently honored as the Best International Bank in the Philippines at the Asiamoney Best Bank Awards 2023. Citi Philippines is recognized for its role in connecting one of Asia’s fastest-growing economies to global hubs and local markets.

Additionally, it was the only foreign firm on the government’s market maker list and played a significant role in the Philippine government’s $2.25 billion sustainable global bond issuance in March 2022, marking Manila’s debut in environmental, social, and governance financing.

The bank also highlighted its involvement as a joint lead manager for the issuance of $3.5 billion in global benchmark bonds for the Asian Development Bank.

Citi Philippines currently serves approximately 90% of the Philippines’ top 20 companies by listed market capitalization and processes about $5 billion in transfers daily.
