The state-owned Development Bank of the Philippines (DBP) has opened its Puerto Princesa Lending Center, demonstrating its commitment to expanding development lending in rural areas and supporting national financial inclusion initiatives.
Situated on the third floor of the Puerto Princesa City Water District building on Rizal Avenue in Puerto Princesa City, the center will focus on aiding potential and current borrowers in vital sectors such as infrastructure, tourism, and agriculture.
DBP, the country’s ninth-largest bank, operates 32 lending centers and was granted a branch-lite unit license by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas in 2021.
