Veterans Bank said it reduced its InstaPay online fund transfer fee to P10 from P15, effective July 17.
The move follows the bank’s announcement on July 14 that PESONet fund transfers would be offered free of charge.
InstaPay is used for real-time fund transfers of up to P50,000, while PESONet is designed for larger transactions that are processed in batches during banking hours.
In May 2025, Veterans Bank completed its capital build-up program, raising its capital to P10 billion in compliance with Republic Act No. 11597, its charter.
The bank said its stock subscription offer, conducted from 2023 to 2025, brought in new investors from the private sector and the veteran community, including retired members of the Armed Forces of the Philippines, who are now allowed to become shareholders under the amended charter.
Veterans Bank said the higher capitalization strengthened its core businesses, expanded its digital services, introduced new products, and supported efforts to broaden its customer base while reinforcing its presence in the government and military sectors.
