UnionBank tapped for Figaro’s digital payment system

Figaro Coffee Group Inc. (FCG) has partnered with Union Bank of the Philippines (UnionBank) to introduce a digital payment system using QR codes, expanding payment options for customers at over 150 retail restaurants nationwide.

FCG President and CEO Divina Gracia G. Cabuloy, mentioned that the collaboration will provide customers with more convenient ways to pay.

Meanwhile, UnionBank executives, including its Corporate Banking Center Head, Bankero Antonino Agustin S. Fajardo, and its Merchant Acquiring and Payment Gateway Head, Bankero Gerardo T. Austria, highlighted the security and efficiency of QR code technology in handling transactions and reducing cash-related challenges and costs

The value of the partnership remains undisclosed.
