UnionBank systems go offline for migration of Citi accounts

The Union Bank of the Philippines will be imposing a two-day downtime for its systems ahead of Holy Week to complete the migration of Citibank clients’ accounts.

UnionBank announced that its systems will be offline starting Saturday, March 23 at 4 p.m. until Monday, March 25 at 9 a.m.

The shutdown will affect users of the UnionBank mobile app, website, ATMs, prepaid and debit cars, as well as fund transfers to accounts.

The notice has been repeatedly sent to UnionBank customers, including account holders at EON, the bank’s first digital banking venture.

UnionBank urged clients to plan their transactions ahead to avoid inconvenience.
