Union Bank of the Philippines led by bankero Edwin Bautista has hired Dr. David Roi Hardoon as chief data and artificial intelligence (AI) officer effective last week.
Hardoon, a data and AI expert, has been serving as consultant of the Aboitiz-led bank.
The Board of Directors of the listed bank also announced the promotion of Bronell Gonzales to assistance vice president. product owner effective May 6 from his current position of senior manager.
It also hired Robertson Tolentino as quality management and training head under the bank’s customer engagement group with a rank of assistant vice president effective last April 25.
Meanwhile, the Aboitiz-led bank also announced the retirement of executive vice president Angelo Dennis Matutina effective May 3.
