UnionBank assures smooth transition after voluntary exit of 3 VPs

Union Bank of the Philippines confirmed the resignation of three vice presidents, saying the departures were voluntary and effective early April.

“The bank respects their personal reasons and made sure that proper transition plans were in place to ensure no disruptions to operations,” UnionBank said in a statement.

The resignations cover officers across corporate banking, analytics and private banking. Anna Roxane Matsuda, relationship manager for corporate banking and vice president, and Anna Beatriz Gonzalez, financial planning and analytics officer and assistant vice president, will step down on April 1. Ralph Sylvester Alo, private banking center lead and vice president, will leave on April 4.

Corporate banking remains a core revenue driver, while financial planning and analytics support strategy and balance sheet management. Private caters to high‑net‑worth clients, a segment banks have been targeting for growth.
