Union Bank of the Philippines (UnionBank) has announced the appointment of Manish Chawla, a former official of Citibank Philippines, as its new Chief Operations Officer (COO) and Executive Vice President.
Chawla brings two decades of experience in the financial services industry, including his roles at Citibank and General Electric’s financial services arm.
He holds a post-graduate degree in Finance and Control from Kurukshetra University in India.
UnionBank acquired Citibank’s consumer banking business in the Philippines last year.
