Top executives and officers of Philippine Savings Bank (PSBank) led by bankero Jose Vicente Alde received a uniform five percent increase in their salaries and bonuses for this year.
Alde together with executive vice president Noli Gomez as well as senior vice presidents Jose Jesus Custodio, Perfecto Ramon Dimayuga Jr., and Emmanuel Tuazon got a five percent pay hike to P61.78 million this year from P58.84 million last year.
Likewise, their bonuses also went up by five percent to P24.57 million this year from last year’s P23.4 million.
On the other hand, all officers with a rank of assistant vice president and higher also received a higher take home pay of P175.15 million in 2022 or five percent more than the P166.81 million in 2021.
Their bonuses also increased by five percent to P73.45 million from P69.95 million.
The per diem of the Board of Directors of the thrift banking arm of the Ty-led Metropolitan Bank & Trust Co. (Metrobank) was retained at P22.1 million for 2022.
Each director receives a monthly professional fee for attending Board and committee meetings. This is also in consideration of their valuable contributions in the formulation of the Bank’s overall strategy.
Aside from said amount, they (directors) have no other compensation plan or arrangement with the PSBank.
