His love for country has always been apparent from PayMongo CEO and Co-founder Francis Plaza.
During his one of his strolls in the streets of Spain, the modern Bankero stumbled upon a small restaurant with a lot of history crucial to the Philippines in it.
He shared on his social media account: “In this unassuming restaurant along a narrow street in Madrid, Jose Rizal frequented this place to have his meals and meet with his friends to plan for their advocacies and reforms for the Philippines to the Spanish government.”
He added: “May we look back to the life of Rizal as we cast our votes for the reform of our Philippine government this coming May. Ask yourself, what did Jose Rizal die for?”
