Top exec, independent director of Security Bank beef up shareholdings

Security Bank Corp. president and CEO Sanjiv Vohra and an independent director beefed up their shareholdings in the listed bank.

The bankero shelled out P28.26 million to purchase 300,000 shares of Security Bank at P94.20 per share last May 20.

Likewise, Security Bank independent director Enrico Cruz also acquired an additional 3,000 shares at P92.60 per piece for a total consideration of P277,800 last May 19.

Last March 15, Cruz spent P10.41 million to acquire 100,000 shares of Security Bank at P104.0772 per share. Cruz now owns 128,010 shares of the bank.

Likewise, Security Bank chairman Alberto Villarosa spent P25.63 million to acquire 231,840 shares at P110.55873 per share last March 11.

Then days later, Villarosa spend P5.15 million to purchase 47,630 more shares at P108.13038 per piece.

After the buying binge, Villarosa’s shareholdings aggregated four million common shares.
