Thinking of going hybrid? Metrobank now offers loans for that

Metropolitan Bank & Trust Co (Metrobank) has expanded its auto loan offerings to cover hybrid vehicles, as rising fuel costs drive growing interest in more fuel-efficient alternatives.

The move comes as carmakers report sustained demand for hybrid models, particularly in the popular SUV and crossover segments favored by Filipino families.

Under the program, Metrobank will finance up to 80% of a vehicle’s net selling price, with repayment terms of up to 60 months.

The bank said the facility is aimed at first-time buyers, customers upgrading their vehicles, and motorists looking to reduce long-term transportation costs.

Metrobank, which is accepting applications through its branches nationwide and online channels, said it “remains committed to providing financing solutions that support both traditional vehicle preferences and emerging automotive technologies.”
