Rizal Commercial Banking Corp. ‘s (RCBC) wealth management unit is ramping up advisory services as Middle East geopolitical tensions drive market volatility.
During mid-year market briefings held June 24 and 25 in Manila and Cebu, the Yuchengco-owned lender urged investors to actively diversify portfolios to protect against inflation and shifting macroeconomic conditions.
Representatives from RCBC Trust, TT International, and Schroders advised clients to prioritize long-term financial targets over short-term market movements. RCBC Trust detailed local fixed income and equity prospects, while TT International pitched emerging market debt and Schroders outlined multi-asset strategies to hedge against global volatility.
“This is where the guidance of a dedicated relationship manager becomes most valuable. They are there not just to explain market movements, but to translate these into a personalized strategy that keeps each client’s wealth on the right trajectory,” RCBC Wealth Group head Jacqueline Wieneke said.
The wealth unit is integrating investment advisory, estate planning, and trust solutions to manage capital preservation and intergenerational wealth transfers.
“Change is constant, and navigating it requires two things: thoughtful counsel and a steady hand. That is exactly what we aim to provide,” Wieneke said. “Through every market cycle and every shift in the global economy, our commitment remains unchanged.”
