Starting July 1: GoTyme Bank to impose fees on over-the-counter deposits

Online bank GoTyme will start charging fees for over-the-counter deposits to bank accounts.

In an advisory, the bank owned by the bilyonaryo Gokongwei clan announced that deposits made through partner stores within the Gokongwei Group will only be free for the first two transactions every month. After that, each deposit will be charged with a fee equivalent to 0.5% of the deposit amount.

Cash deposits for GoTyme accounts are available through cashiers at Robinsons Supermarket, Robinsons Department Store, Robinsons Easymart, The Marketplace, Shopwise, No Brand, Southstar Drug, and Handyman.

The fees will take effect on July 1, 2024.
