The privately-owned Light Rail Manila Corp. (LRMC) has partnered with a local mobility company providing Light Rail Transit-1 (LRT-1) riders connectivity to and from their daily destinations.
The partnership with Global Electric Transport (GET) Philippines
initially connects riders accessing the LRT-1 EDSA Station with transport connections to the Manila Bay ASEANA area up to the Paranaque Integrated Terminal Exchange (PITX). The second phase will connect riders to the Makati Central Business District.
GET Philippines operates a fleet of 30-capacity electric vehicles that shuttles LRT-1 riders to and from points as the Macapagal Boulevard – PITX area.
To enjoy a seamless riding experience, riders are asked to download the GETPASS app from Google Play and App Store and obtain membership passes in the following amounts and validity of unlimited rides: Bronze – P50 (1-day pass), Silver – P150 (1-week pass), and Gold – P500 (1-month pass).
The membership pass also provides access to ride the shuttle in other routes within the GET Philippines network.
