Security Bank rolls out exclusive program to help MSMEs compete and grow

Security Bank, led by the family of bilyonaryo Frederick Dy, has launched its Business Elite Program, designed to provide specialized financial solutions, operational support, and exclusive benefits to Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the Philippines.

The program seeks to address challenges faced by MSMEs, including limited access to financing, cash flow management, and administrative burdens.

Key features of the initiative include preferential financing rates, waived service fees, personalized financial guidance, and partnerships with service providers offering business-related services at exclusive rates.

Additionally, MSMEs enrolled in the program will have access to non-life insurance coverage in partnership with PhilBritish Insurance.

To qualify for the program, MSMEs must maintain a Monthly Average Daily Balance (MTD ADB) of PHP2 million. This eligibility threshold allows businesses to take advantage of the program’s financial flexibility and dedicated support from a Business Elite Relationship Manager, who will offer personalized financial advice to help companies scale and compete more effectively.

John David Yap, SVP and Head of Business Banking at Security Bank, stressed the importance of supporting MSMEs, noting that these businesses are crucial to the Philippine economy. He explained, “We developed the Business Elite Program with a clear focus on the needs of our high value MSME clients.”

Security Bank’s commitment to supporting SMEs recently earned it recognition as the Best SME Bank at The Digital Banker’s Global SME Banking Innovation Awards.

With the launch of the Business Elite Program, the bank aims to further reinforce its role as a key financial partner to MSMEs, helping them navigate an increasingly competitive business environment and ensuring they have the necessary resources and expertise to thrive.
