Security Bank Corp. led by bankero Sanjiv Vohra has affirmed its commitment to help the world achieve net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050.
The bankero attended the launch of the Glasgow Financial Alliance for Net Zero (GFANZ) Asia Pacific Network Office in Singapore.
With over 450 member firms in 45 countries, GFANZ aims to accelerate the world’s transition to net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050.
For its part, Security Bank recently disclosed its commitment to zero out coal generation financing—no longer fund the construction of new coal generation plants and with a view to completely exit by 2033.
