Security Bank , Dr. Bidder help healthcare providers fund equipment upgrades

Security Bank Corp. has partnered with healthcare procurement platform Dr. Bidder to give hospitals and healthcare providers access to financing options for equipment purchases through a more seamless process.

The partnership aims to address the significant amount of investments needed to finance the acquisition of modern medical equipment essential in delivering quality healthcare.

“At Security Bank, our BetterBanking promise is to make banking simple, fast, and personal. Healthcare providers make critical investments every day to improve patient outcomes, and we’re committed to helping them access the resources they need to grow, modernize, and serve more people,” said Pamela Edejer, senior vice president and Assets Business head at Security Bank.

Through the collaboration, healthcare institutions on the Dr. Bidder platform can explore Security Bank financing solutions for equipment investments, subject to the Bank’s standard credit evaluation and approval processes.

“At the heart of every healthcare investment is a patient waiting for better care, a family hoping for better outcomes, and a community deserving more. Dr. Bidder is about making those better outcomes possible, by giving healthcare providers the resources to grow, modernize, and reach more people. Because when we invest in healthcare, we’re not just building facilities or acquiring technology. We’re investing in lives,” said Loysa Orense, president of Vireo Loadworks Inc. & project lead at Dr. Bidder.

By bringing equipment procurement and financing into one ecosystem, Security Bank and Dr. Bidder helps healthcare institutions acquire critical medical equipment more efficiently, allowing them to focus on what matters most: delivering quality care to their patients.

Aside from Orense, present during the signing of the memorandum of agreement were Vireo Loadworks director Octavius Ceasar Cajucom, Security Bank first vice president and Area Head of Area 7 San Juan Ginger Tulio, Security Bank first vice president and Assets Business Sales head Joseph Cecilio Sison, and Security Bank senior assistant vice president and Focus Segments Group head Jaja Acosta.
