The Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) on Tuesday launched its Digital Business Center and 360 Hub at its Quezon City branch office, expanding its digital initiatives to improve service delivery for government workers and pensioners.
The 360 Hub, equipped with self-service tablets running the GSIS Touch app, allows members to verify their annual pensioners’ information revalidation (APIR) status, apply for loans, track applications, and file claims without requiring in-person assistance.
“By harnessing technology, we are ensuring every government worker and pensioner can access their benefits more efficiently,” GSIS president and general manager Wick Veloso said.
The initiative is part of the state pension fund’s digitalization efforts, aimed at reducing transaction times and minimizing bureaucratic processes.
Anti-Red Tape Authority Director General Ernesto V. Perez commended the move, calling it a step toward seamless public service. “The GSIS is leading the way in digitalization. We at ARTA remain committed to fostering innovation and efficiency across all government agencies,” he said.
The Quezon City 360 Hub is one of 40 similar facilities GSIS has deployed across the country. Within hours of its launch, dozens of members successfully completed transactions, highlighting the system’s efficiency.
GSIS, which serves government employees and retirees, is accelerating its digital transformation to enhance accessibility and reduce processing times.
