Salmon Bank (Rural Bank) Inc. is offering a promotional interest rate of 8% per annum under its new “Bank on Eight” program for clients placing at least P1 million in a time deposit for a minimum of one year.
The promotion runs from Dec. 1, 2025, to June 1, 2026.
The program comes as Salmon Bank reports strong performance across its lending and deposit businesses, boosted by technology-led operational efficiencies that allow the bank to offer one of the highest promotional rates in the Philippine market.
“Bank on Eight gives every Filipino saver access to one of the highest interest rates in the market, allowing them to grow their money in a secure way,” Raffy Montemayor, co-founder of Salmon and chairman of Salmon Bank (Rural Bank), said. “We’ve experienced rapid growth this year with the support of our customers. Now as our business scales, we are committed to passing on the benefits of our efficiency back to Filipinos.”
“This promo is a clear example of how technology and responsible growth allow us to provide comparatively high returns to our customers while maintaining strong liquidity, capital, and risk standards,” he added.
Customers can open accounts online via the bank’s website or at its branches in Sta. Rosa, Laguna, and Bacoor, Cavite. Deposits are insured by the Philippine Deposit Insurance Corp. (PDIC) up to PHP 1 million per depositor.
