Rizal Commercial Banking Corporation (RCBC) was recognized as the country’s “Best Corporate Bank” and “ Best Retail Bank” for 2023 by Global Banking & Finance Review, a magazine based in the United Kingdom.
The magazine award recognizes banks and other financial institutions that have “the innovation, achievement, strategy, progressive and inspirational changes taking place within the global financial community.”
The awards were developed to honor businesses of all sizes that excel and are prominent in certain financial fields.
Rural bank Country Builders Bank (CBB) was also awarded “Best Micro Finance Bank” for 2023 by the magazine.
