Rizal Commercial Banking Corp. (RCBC) has approved a cash dividend for holders of its convertible preferred shares, even as the Yuchengco-led lender reported a double-digit drop in first-half profit.
RCBC’s board declared a dividend of ₱0.14350 per convertible preferred share, equivalent to an aggregate payout of about ₱38,075 based on the current number of outstanding shares.
Shareholders on record as of Sept. 21 will be entitled to the dividend, which will be paid within five trading days after the record date.
The bank said the final payout could decline if more preferred shares are converted into common stock on or before Sept. 21.
Based on an exchange rate of ₱61.24 per dollar, the dividend is equivalent to about $622. The final dollar amount will depend on the exchange rate on the record date.
RCBC’s net income fell 22.5% to ₱4.11 billion in the first six months of 2026 from ₱5.3 billion a year earlier.
