Former Chairman of Century Rural Bank Inc., Rodolfo Del Rosario Jr., has been appointed as the new Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) chairman by President Marcos, according to a Facebook post by the Presidential Communications Office.
Del Rosario, who also served as Vice President of Finance and Vice President of Treasury and Management Services at Anflo Management and Investment Corporation, brings expertise in anti-money laundering, corporate governance, risk management, and microfinance to his new role.
Additionally, former acting Justice Secretary and the first woman Ombudsman, Ma. Merceditas Gutierrez, along with Jocelyn Cabreza, Alan Luga, and Department of Education Schools Division Superintendent Rita Riddle, were named as GSIS board of trustees members.
