The Philippine National Bank (PNB) received the Four Golden Arrow Award during the ASEAN Corporate Governance Scorecard (ACGS) Golden Arrow Awards ceremony held on January 20, 2023.
This corporate governance award recognizes the country’s top-performing publicly listed companies (PLCs), based on the 2021 ASEAN Corporate Governance Scorecard (ACGS) assessment results.
Bankero and PNB Acting President Florido P. Casuela received the award on behalf of the bank. Several bank officials were also in attendance during the ceremony.
In the same awards event, the Lucio Tan Group, Inc. (LTGI) received the Three Golden Arrow Award. CFO/Chief Risk Officer Jose Gabriel Olives received the award on behalf of the conglomerate.
The ACGS evaluates and ranks PLCs in six participating ASEAN countries – Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam.
It aspires to improve corporate governance norms and procedures as well as increase investor interest throughout the country.
