PNB clients can no longer pay bills via internet banking next month.
Starting this April, clients of Philippine National Bank (PNB) headed by bankero Wick Veloso can no longer pay their bills via the bank’s internet banking.
In an updated advisory, the bank owned by taipan Lucio Tan said bills payment will no longer be available in PNB Internet Banking and will be exclusively available on the PNB Digital App.
“To continue using PNB’s Bills Payment, Fund Transfer (PNB to PNB, InstaPay and PESONet) and view Credit Card services, download the PNB Digital App now on the official App Store and Google Playstore,” the bank said.
Last January 17, several features including electronic PNB to PNB fund transfers, InstaPay, PESONet as well as card balance inquiry, and credit card e-statement were disabled in the PNB Internet Banking.
Last March 1, PNB stopped allowing customers to pay Meralco bills via the PNB Internet Banking after it was transferred to the PNB Digital App.
The PNB Internet Banking will be renamed to PNB Account Access Portal that allows balance and transaction inquiry on savings, checking, and time deposit accounts.
The portal also allows the enrollment and management of investments, application for PNB credit card products, and checkbook ordering.
