Philippine National Bank (PNB) has appointed longtime Union Bank of the Philippines executive Raymond Anthony “Ryan” Acosta as deputy group head of its Information Technology Group.
PNB’s board approved Acosta’s appointment as senior vice president, effective Oct. 16, 2026, the lender said in a regulatory filing.
The bank created the deputy group head position effective Sept. 1 ahead of Acosta’s appointment.
Acosta joins PNB after nearly 24 years at Aboitiz-led UnionBank, where he rose from vice president and technical support head in 2003 to senior vice president and head of infrastructure and services management.
Separately, PNB said the extended regular employment of First Senior Vice President Mariana Caculitan, head of its International Banking and Remittance Group, will end effective Sept. 19, 2026.
