Rizal Commercial Banking Corp. led by banker Eugene Acevedo has tapped a graduate of the Philippine Military Academy (PMA) with a combined experience of a military and commercial pilot as its new chief security officer.
The Yuchengco-led bank has appointed Lieutenant Colonel Jefferson Tecson as chief security officer, with rank of vice president, effective April 1.
Tecson held several roles in the government agencies helping in the operational planning and preventing threats and security breaches.
In his 23 years of professional experience, one of the highlights is being the commander of an intelligence team for the regions of Southern Tagalog and Mindanao.
Tecson graduated in 1997 from PMA with a Bachelor of Science major in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering. He is also a licensed military and commercial pilot, intelligence officer and squadron officer.
Tecson replaces senior vice president Edwin Ermita, who is retiring effective April 2.
The listed bank also announced the retirement of first senior vice president Yashuhiro Matsumoto effective April 1.
