The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) and the National Bank of Cambodia (NBC) pledged closer cooperation after a high-level meeting in Bohol on Aug. 18.
The talks, led by BSP Governor Eli M. Remolona, Jr. and NBC Governor Chea Serey, covered cross-border payment initiatives, the use of artificial intelligence in financial services, and measures to combat financial fraud.
Both institutions reaffirmed their commitment to promote financial innovation, boost efficiency and interoperability of payment systems, and strengthen collaboration in central banking.
