New LANDBANK president aims to bring fresh perspective and innovation to fulfill social mandate

In a statement, Lynette V. Ortiz, the newly appointed President of LAND BANK of the Philippines (LANDBANK), expressed her determination to bring a fresh perspective and innovative ideas to fulfill the bank’s social mandate and address the evolving needs of their diverse customers and stakeholders.

Ortiz, who previously served as the CEO of Standard Chartered Bank Philippines, highlighted her commitment to supporting agriculture, promoting financial inclusion, and assisting marginalized sectors in line with LANDBANK’s inclusive development agenda.

Additionally, she held senior positions in risk management, treasury, corporate finance, and capital markets in both local and foreign institutions.

Ortiz was appointed by President Bongbong Marcos on April 14, succeeding Cecilia Borromeo.
