Metrobank names new head of branch banking

Metropolitan Bank & Trust Co. (Metrobank) headed by bankero Fabian Dee has appointed Nelson See as head of branch banking sector with a rank of senior vice president starting January next year.

See will replace Anthony Paul Yap who will be transferred to another unit within the Ty-led bank.

See has almost three decades of professional experience in branch and commercial banking focusing on business generation, operation efficiency and customer centricity.

He has been serving as Head of Commercial Banking Center, institutional Banking Sector-Manila since June 2019.

Before joining Metrobank, See was Sales officer/Branch Head of Ayala-led Bank of the Philippine lslands (BPl) from 1994 to 1999 as well as Sales and Operation Head for Angco Marketing from 1999 to 2000.

He also served as president of Easy Meals Corp. from 2000 lo 2002 before finally joining the Metrobank in April 2002 as Branch Head of Cebu-Leon Kilat Branch, Branch Banking Group in the Visayas Region.

See graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Management at the Ateneo De Manila University.
