Metropolitan Bank & Trust Co. (Metrobank) recognized more than 1,000 employees for their years of service as the Ty-led lender marked its 64th anniversary.
Metrobank chairman Arthur Ty and president Fabian Dee recognized the awardees, including 171 employees who have been with the bank for 30 years.
The employees have helped Metrobank navigate economic cycles and changing customer needs while maintaining the values that have guided the bank through the decades.
“Our greatest lesson from their journey is that resilience alone is not enough. While circumstances may change, our values must remain constant. We must continue to lead with malasakit, do what is right for our customers, and be the bank that Filipinos can always rely on, especially when times are hard,” Dee said at the bank’s 64th Anniversary Service Awards.
Metrobank said the awards also recognized employees’ role in building relationships with customers, supporting businesses and strengthening communities.
The bank said it continues to invest in employee development, providing training and other programs to strengthen their skills and support their career growth.
