Teachers will receive VIP treatment at branches of the Metropolitan Bank & Trust Co. in the next two weeks.
The big bank owned by the bilyonaryo Ty family is marking National Teachers’ Month by providing extra care and convenience to educators.
All bank branches will have a special green lane to handle teacher transactions between September 23 to October 4, 2024.
The Metrobank Foundation has been recognizing exemplary educators since 1985 through its search for outstanding teachers.
For 2024, it awarded the following teachers as among the outstanding Filipinos Ma. Ella Fabella, a Master Teacher II from Zamboanga City, Zamboanga Sibugay “Greenducator” Franco Rino Apoyon, Maria Regina Hechanova-Alampay of Quezon City, and University of the Philippines- Los Baños Professor Decibel Faustino-Eslava.
