Maya Bank is targeting growth in the transportation and healthcare sectors in the central and southern Philippines.
This follows as Visayas and Mindanao accounts for a significant portion of the digital bank’s transactions, according to Maya Regional Business Head Bryan Enerio.
In Mindanao, the healthcare sector will be prioritized, while Maya aims to empower the transportation industry by digitizing ticketing processes for boats and buses in the Visayas region.
The Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry plans to relaunch its web-based marketplace with Maya as the payment channel.
