The e-wallet is not QRPH compliant!
Digital wallet Maya unveiled it can now be used to scan-to-pay GCash, AUB, Metrobank and Unionbank QR codes at retail stores, making payments faster and convenient by using the QRPh code. The national QR code allows clients of participating banks and electronic money issuers (EMI) a convenient method to pay, transfer to and receive funds from other bank and e-money accounts in the Philippines. QR PH is regulated by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas and the Philippine Payments Management, Inc.
Similarly, the Maya QR is ready to be scanned and used by financial apps as soon as these apps make the feature available.
