State-run Land Bank of the Philippines said digital transactions climbed sharply in the first nine months of 2025, hitting ₱3.14 trillion, as Filipinos continued shifting to mobile and online banking.
More than 550 million transactions passed through its platforms during the period, up 27% from a year earlier.
Growth was broad across the bank’s digital channels, which include its mobile app, online retail portals, government payment systems and institutional platforms.
LandBank said the uptick reflects rising demand for quicker, more convenient and more secure banking options.
“Innovation, at its heart, must make people’s lives easier — more connected, more secure, and more inclusive. LandBank’s digital transformation began with that principle. We modernized our systems not just to compete, but to serve our people better,” said EVP Leila C. Martin.
The bank’s mobile banking app remained the top driver of activity, logging 492.44 million transactions worth ₱418.40 billion, rising 26% in volume and 38% in value. Retail channels also posted steady growth: iAccess processed 2.59 million transactions totaling ₱11.89 billion, while Link.BizPortal handled 6.76 million transactions worth ₱12.27 billion.
The biggest jump came from institutional clients using the weAccess platform, which saw transactions climb to 32.85 million valued at ₱1.29 trillion. ATM payroll transactions made up nearly 27 million of these, amounting to ₱266.71 billion, as more employers shifted to digital payroll systems.
Government disbursements through eMDS continued to scale, reaching ₱1.14 trillion from 3.63 million transactions.
Meanwhile, LANDBANKasama agents facilitated 2.38 million transactions worth ₱11.68 billion, helping extend digital services to remote areas.
Tax-related platforms also posted gains. The eTPS processed 554,151 transactions amounting to ₱132.93 billion, while the new BIR VDS Portal generated ₱1.93 billion in its first year.
LANDBANK’s bulk credit system handled 6.08 million transactions worth ₱52.37 billion, and its remittance platform processed 650,203 transactions totaling ₱58.26 billion, an 11% increase in value.
