The Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) now allows its clients to make online payments for optional non-life insurance (ONLI) premiums, taxes, and fees via Land Bank of the Philippines.
In an announcement on Feb. 20, GSIS President and General Manager Wick Veloso said the new service is part of the agency’s efforts to improve customer experience through digital platforms.
ONLI is an exclusive benefit for GSIS active members, retirees, pensioners, and their qualified dependents, providing protection against accidents and unforeseen events for both the individual and their property.
The policy covers motor vehicle insurance, fire insurance, and personal accident insurance.
Veloso stated that they are expanding their digital payment platforms to offer clients availing ONLI policies secure, accessible, and user-friendly channels.
Clients can use the Land Bank Link.Biz Portal to access the online payment facility (OPF) via Bancnet using bank accounts from various financial institutions including Asia United Bank, CTBC Bank, Citystate Savings Bank, Enterprise Bank, Entrepreneur Bank, Equicom Savings, Luzon Development Bank, MASS-SPECC, Malayan Bank, Overseas Filipino Bank, PBCom Bank, Philippine Business Bank, Philtrust Bank, Sterling Bank, or Sun Savings Bank.
Meanwhile, clients using the Land Bank Link.Biz Portal via Paygate may use accounts from Bank of the Philippine Islands, Rizal China Banking Corporation, Philippine Savings Bank, Robinsons Bank, or Union Bank of the Philippines.
In addition, GSIS clients can also pay their service loans and housing loans through Land Bank and Union Bank’s online platforms, respectively. The GSIS Touch mobile app can be used to pay service loans.
