Land Bank of the Philippines on Tuesday shut six branches in the southern provinces of South Cotabato and Sarangani following a magnitude 7.8 earthquake.
The state-owned lender said the temporary closures are a precautionary measure to allow structural safety assessments to protect clients and employees.
The closures hit four sites in South Cotabato—Calumping, General Santos Highway, General Santos-Pioneer, and Koronadal Highway—alongside the Alabel and Glan branches in Sarangani.
LandBank said all other branches nationwide remain open and operational.
The bank is directing affected customers to its digital platforms, including the LandBank mobile banking app and iAccess, or to the nearest operational branches for inter-branch transactions while inspections continue.
