State-run Land Bank of the Philippines headed by bankero Cecilia Borromeo has partnered with Zamboanga City in the development of the New Zamboanga International Airport development project.
Assessors from the bank and Mayor Beng Climaco led the groundbreaking ceremony of the project last May 4 to mark the start of land value assessment activities on parcels affected by the new airport.
Landbank’s Raquel Cananea committed the completion of the appraisal activities in 20 working days to meet the desire of the mayor for the acquisition of land parcels before June 20.
The New Zamboanga International Airport is one of the flagship projects of the national government in the province.
