Land Bank of the Philippines (Landbank) has agreed to provide a P3-B 10-year term loan to Manila Water Co., Inc., the water concessionaire said on Monday.
Manila Water stated in a regulatory filing that the loan will finance its general corporate requirements as well as capital expenditures.
Meanwhile, about P181 billion has been earmarked for its capital investments until 2027.
The water concessionaire serves the east zone network of Metro Manila, which comprises Marikina, Pasig, Makati, Taguig, Pateros, Mandaluyong, San Juan, portions of Quezon City and Manila, as well as several towns of nearby Rizal province.
