The Land Bank of the Philippines and the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) have expanded their partnership to improve access to credit for micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs).
The collaboration, formalized through a memorandum of understanding, links PCCI members to LandBank’s LIFTING MSMEs Lending Program and broader initiatives in financial inclusion, digital transformation, sustainability, and financial capability building.
“MSMEs form a critical engine of economic growth. They create jobs, drive local enterprise, and keep economic activity moving in communities far beyond our major urban centers. When MSMEs grow, more Filipinos participate in and benefit from economic progress,” said LANDBANK president and CEO Lynette V. Ortiz.
Under the agreement, LandBank will provide qualified PCCI members access to lending programs, financial literacy initiatives, digital payment solutions, deposit products, and sustainability-focused financing.
PCCI will promote the lending program through its nationwide network and facilitate referrals of MSME borrowers, while also supporting efforts on business formalization, financial readiness, and digital adoption.
“This is just the beginning. Through PCCI and LANDBANK’s partnership, we are expanding opportunities for our kababayans. We want to make sure that our MSMEs have access to both local and international market,” said PCCI president Ferdinand Ferrer.
The partnership aligns with the government’s UPLIFT framework for inclusive growth, the institutions said.
LandBank launched its LIFTING MSMEs Lending Program in September 2025, offering three financing tiers: Start-Up for new enterprises, Step-Up for micro and small firms scaling operations, and Level-Up for established businesses expanding capacity and competitiveness.
As of April 2026, LandBank said it has approved ₱2.25 billion in loans under the program.
