Land Bank of the Philippines (Landbank) and the Social Security System (SSS) have strengthened their partnership, withLandbank becoming the payroll bank for SSS employees, facilitating efficient salary disbursements and offering banking services through its extensive network nationwide.
The Service Level Agreement (SLA) signed between Landbank President and CEO Lynette V. Ortiz and SSS President and CEO Rolando L. Macasaet enables direct crediting of salary, allowances, bonuses, provident fund, and loan proceeds to SSS employees’ accounts, allowing them to transact and withdraw cash from various Landbank branches, ATMs, and 7-Eleven ATMs.
The two institutions have also signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) for the efficient collection of voluntary SSS contributions from Landbank employees.
Additionally, Landbank’s Bulk Credit System (LBCS) and Link.BizPortal digital platforms are used for electronic bulk disbursements of retirement funds, benefits, and investments to qualified SSS payees, and the Landbank Link.BizPortal serves as a web-based payment channel for various government agencies.
