Land Bank of the Philippines’ (LandBank) Outgoing President and CEO Cecilia Cayosa Borromeo was recognized as the ‘Outstanding CEO for 2023’ during the annual Association of Development Financing Institutions in Asia and the Pacific (ADFIAP) Development Awards held in Almaty, Kazakhstan.
The award, granted by ADFIAP, acknowledges Borromeo’s exceptional leadership, vision, and accomplishments that have significantly impacted her institution, the development banking profession, and the country’s overall development.
Borromeo’s transformational efforts in steering LandBank as a development-oriented institution were highlighted and celebrated.
Borromeo will be succeeded by Lynette Ortiz, who was appointed by President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. on April 14.
