State-owned Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) on Monday announced a three-month extension to its computer loan program for members.
GSIS members have up to June 30 this year to access the loan program enabling qualified borrowers up to P30,000 to purchase the equipment.
The program is specifically designed for member who have telecommuting or work-from-home arrangements with their government employers.
Members may apply for the loan online, amortize the obligation as long as three years at six percent per annum for less than P1,000 a month.
“The monthly amortization for the loan is only P983.33 and application may be done online through the newly-launched GSIS Touch mobile app, the GSIS Wireless Automated Processing System (GWAPS) kiosks, over-the-counter, or through drop boxes in all GSIS branches and extension offices nationwide,” GSIS president and general manager Rolando Macasaet said.
